Whilst packing for my holiday a week ago I suddenly remembered about my 100% Aloe Vera Gel. I popped it in the bag just in case we needed it whilst away.
Well, how right I was. This product is so amazing and versatile it an be used for so many things. There were my husband, myself, 3 kids and large Newfoundland on holiday. We all made good use of the product for different things.
Whilst cooking the meal one night I burnt my arm – on went the gel a few times and the burn is healing well with no blister.
My husband got bitten whilst away and he used the gel on the bites which stopped the itching and healed well.
My eldest boy (5) is always getting into scrapes so on went the aloe vera gel and his cuts and scrapes are healing well.
My middle boy (3) got some sunburn on his cheeks so we applied the gel before bedtime and they were much improved in the morning.
My little one (11 months) had nappy rash from wearing nappies whilst on the beach – the sand isn't kind to them at that age so again out came the gel, applied before bedtime and nappy rash cleared up in the morning.
This gel really is amazing and can be used for so many things that I'm always going to make sure I have it whenever we go away as it saves on space (no need to take lots of different products) and is cooling when placed in the fridge before use.
Just remembered, the dog had a tick whilst we were away so once that was removed on went the gel to prevent any discomfort or infection.
Overall 100% Gel, 100% Use! A little bit goes a long way.
Oven Mate Gel Oven Cleaner - £8.99
This product really is as amazing as it sounds. I was sceptical at first as I couldn't believe a product could be that amazing and get my oven clean without the need for scrubbing.
My oven has been in my kitchen for 6 years and has never been cleaned because in that time I've had three children and never had the chance to clean the oven with the usual toxic, acrid smelling cleaners as I've not wanted to subject my children to this. Well when I heard about this product I decided that it really was worth a go as my cooker was how shall we say 'disgusting'.
I've enclosed photos for you to see just how bad it was - think the camera makes it look worse that it was.
On the door you'll be able to see a cleaner patch. This was where I tested the gel for about 5 minutes and after wiping it it came away clean like this. I then applied the gel all over the door and the floor of the oven and on the shelves (not so easy to do those with a paintbrush). I decided to leave it over night as it really needed it.
In the morning with a damp cloth I just wiped away the gel and the grease and grime just came away with it. A few rinses of the cloth and more wiping and you can see the results for yourself.
The cooker now looks as good as new. The gel should last a few more cleans of the cooker so although it may seem expensive at £8.99 it really is worth it. Buy yours today.
